Fuel posted this on their facebook on April 30th so it looks like its legit

Fuel things to come…

Hey, everyone! I hope you are all doing great, and I’m looking forward to seeing you all at a Fuel show in 2013.
The summer tour is coming together , and we have a list of great shows ahead of us.

We will be heading
out on “The Big Night Out!” tour package with three other great bands.
We are stepping it up into some outdoor venues, theaters, and we will
have some more intimate shows, as we love being close to the fans!
Details are a bit hush, hush, but a formal press release is planned.
This will be a hot ticket, so plan on getting your seats as soon as they
go onsale, before they are all gone.
Also, we still have a few
details to work out, but if all goes as planned, you’ll have a new Fuel
single for download this summer. Woohoo!
It’s been far too long,
and I know that all of you fuelies have been waiting for this day as
much as I have. As I said, we have a few details to work out, and
handshakes to make, but we are targeting the first single for
mid-summer. Don’t forget to drive your local radio stations crazy with
requests, and tweet, post, text, etc.!!
On another note, it’s with a
heavy heart that I announce to all of you that Ken Schalk has decided
that it’s best that he no longer continues his role as the drummer of
Fuel. Ken was saddened to leave the band because he loves performing
live . He absolutely loved playing with us, and for you, but his young
daughters come first right now. Sometimes it’s not easy being a
traveling musician, and I completely understand the decision he has made
for himself. Ken laid some amazing drum tracks on the new music. Ken is
not only a wonderful drummer but a great person and friend.
And
with that said, I’d like to introduce you all to the new drummer of
Fuel! If you could all give a warm welcome to Bryan Keeling! Bryan is an
excellent drummer that has been playing with Eric Sardinas lately and
also played with Shooter Jennings for a number of years. He’s a heavy
hitter that knows how to throw a sexy groove. Feel free to give Bryan a
shout out and welcome him to the Fuel wikipedia band member graph. Lord
knows that thing is starting to look like a Christmas tree! Haha! Here
is Bryan’s personal facebook page. https://www.facebook...eelgood?fref=ts

Throughout all of the ups and downs over the years I’d like to thank
each and every one of you for being the best fans anyone could ever ask
for. You’ve been there through the good times and the bad and I love you
for your passion and patience. I assure you all, the best is yet to
come!

Peace, love, and all that hippy shit,
Brett

You shut your damn fool mouth.

Hey I like all these bands, but you can't deny how similar these bands are in terms of their success. A huge hit, with a bunch of minor ones. And they're no longer relevant. Its a perfect tour name!

You're no longer relevant. Maybe you should tour under that name with your cat.

God damnit, someone needs to lock Fuel in their damn studio and not open the doors until the album is done and ready for mixing/mastering.

This lineup is missing on more than and to get me pumped up. Having someone like Third Eye Blind headline would make me feel hy a ticket.

I would argue Fuel, Hoobastank, and even Lit had multiple huge hits. For Fuel both "Hemorrhage" and "Shimmer" we're fairly big and "Innocent" and "Bad Day" did quite well also. And Hoobastank "The Reason", "Crawling In The Dark", and "Running Away" all of which were very successful. And with Lit, I'd say both "My Own Worst Enemy" and "Miserable" would qualify.

Yeah AAF had Movies and then a cover of Smooth Criminal. They are definitely the opener of this tour with ha ingredients the least success out of the rest. If you look at Fuels Best Of album they do have quite a bit of singles. Shimmer and Hemmorage where the best hits but they had some other solid hits. Hoobastanks first two albums were great but they lost it after that. I heard a new si gle from them last year that wasn't bad as it was a harder sound but never looked up anything else from the new album.

While I love all of Hoobastank's output, the new album is definitely a step forward for them. "The Fallen" is a jam.

That is a killer line-up.

Although, I'm not sure of each band's current situation, I'm guessing all of the original members of each band won't be present.

Fuel is the only band that really applies to. Lit has all original members except the one who died, Alien Ant Farm is all original members, and Hoobastank is all original bar one. Fuel is only one original member, but it's the most important one.

Carl is the other one, but he didn't do so well without Brett and he gave up the name to him without a fight.

I'd venture to say that most people dont even know hes the guy who wrote most of the songs. Since most people are going for the hits/songs they know theyd rather see the guy who fronted and sang them over the guy who wrote them.

This is exactly correct, although I don't think Brett is a slouch in the writing department. I've heard Carl was a control freak though.
